Kallikrein Bradykinin

Kallikrein Bradykinin are components of the kallikrein-kinin system, which plays a crucial role in inflammation, blood pressure regulation, and other physiological processes.

Kallikrein is one of a group of enzymes found in the blood and body fluids that act on certain plasma globulins to produce bradykinin and kallidin.

Ketoacidosis

Ketoacidosis is a serious medical condition characterised by the accumulation of ketones and increased acidity in the blood. It is most commonly associated with diabetes, particularly in cases of uncontrolled diabetes or insufficient insulin levels. There are two primary types of ketoacidosis: diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and alcoholic ketoacidosis.

Ketone bodies

Ketone bodies are water-soluble molecules produced by the liver from fatty acids during periods of low food intake, fasting, or carbohydrate restriction. The primary ketone bodies produced in the human body are acetoacetate, beta-hydroxybutyrate, and acetone.
