Ketoacidosis is a serious medical condition characterised by the accumulation of ketones and increased acidity in the blood. It is most commonly associated with diabetes, particularly in cases of uncontrolled diabetes or insufficient insulin levels. There are two primary types of ketoacidosis: diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and alcoholic ketoacidosis.
