DPP-4 inhibitors
DPP-4 inhibitors, also known as dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors, are a class of oral medications used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. They work by inhibiting the action of the enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), which in turn helps to regulate blood sugar levels.
